Peru tourism is an interesting tour circuit, we’ll visit the classic tourist attractions of the south of Peru, and we’ll go from the coast to the Andes mountain range until we get to the border of the Peruvian jungle (Machupicchu).

Day 01: Lima |
|
|
|
| |
Arrive to Lima. Transport to the designated hotel.
|
|
|

Day 02: Lima |
|
|
|
|
|
| |
|
We’ll visit the main tourist attractions of Lima, the Cathedral, Pizarro’s grave, and San Francisco catacombs. Right after that, we visit the modern neighborhoods of San Isidro and Miraflores, and the traditional neighbourhood of Barranco. Sleep at the hotel. To take better advantage of our trip, we spend the night in Lima to get a good rest and thus continue our trip the following day.

Day 03: Lima / Paracas/ Ica / Nazca |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast. Early morning, we’ll head towards the city of Pisco on private transportation towards the Paracas bay to take a ride on a boat around the Ballestas Islands. We’ll be able to watch a wide variety of birds, sea dogs, penguins and several other species, this type of tourism in Peru is considered as ecological tourism. After enjoying this visit, we will go to the city of Ica, to the Huacachina Oasis. This oasis is surrounded by an endless sea of dunes.

After lunch, we’ll have a couple of hours to enjoy this beautiful place.
After that, we’ll continue our trip towards the city of Nazca in a private transport, to arrive to the selected hotel.

Day 04: Nazca / Arequipa |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast. Early morning we’ll be taken to the Nazca airport to discover one of the main mysteries in Peru and fly over the Nazca lines for 35 minutes in small planes (3 to five people max). Should the group be quite large, we will distribute the people on several flights and planes.
You’ll be able to see huge figures of animals and drawings with an amazing accuracy; some are more than 500 meters long. After lunch, we’ll visit the Nazca Chauchilla cemetery.
We depart in a local bus to the city of Arequipa.

Day 05: Arequipa |

|
|
|
|
|
|
Arriving to Arequipa and transport to the selected hotel. The morning is free to rest and adapt to the height. We go on a city tour in the afternoon, visiting the plaza de Armas, the claustros de la compañia de Jesus, Colonial neighbourhoods of Cayma and Yanahuara. Finally we’ll visit the jewel of Catholicism and that of tourism in Peru: the Santa Catalina Monastery, a XVI century citadel which was closed to the outside world for almost 400 years where time seems to have stopped.

Day 06: Arequipa / Colca Canyon |

|
|
|
|
Breakfast. We head towards the Colca Canyon; we go through the Aguada Blanca y Salinas National Reserve, here, we can observe llamas, alpacas and vicunas, then continue through Troja Pampa where we can observe Andean birds.
This type of tourism in Peru helps us to better understand the life of alpaca and llamas framers in the Peruvian andes mountains.
We continue to the highest point of this place called Patapampa, at 4850 metres.
Arrive to the city of Chivay and to the hostel.
We head to the hot spring waters in the afternoon
Meals included: continental breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 07: Colca Canyon / Arequipa |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast. We head towards The Cross of the Condor which is located at about 3700 meters, here; we can observe the flight of the condor, which is a unique attraction in Peru.
We head back to the city of Chivay, visit the different sightseeing spots and colonial buildings, after lunch, we return to the city of Arequipa.

Day 08: Arequipa / Juliaca / Sillustani / Puno |

|
|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast. We are taken to the train station to take us to the city of Juliaca. From there, we head towards the archeological remains of Sillustani by private transport. We’ll stay in this place for one and a half hours, here; we can look at circular buildings called Chullpas which served as tombs for the ancient inhabitants of Peru. Sillustani is located 35 Kms, from Puno on the bank of the Umayo river. We continue or trip to Puno.
Transport to the hotel.

Day 09: Puno / Lake Titicaca / Puno |

|
|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast. We’ll take a ride on a boat in the Titicaca Lake today. We start by visiting the floating islands of Uros where it’s possible to watch the lifestyle of the inhabitants of Peru. We continue onboard to visit the aisle of Taquile where we appreciate its sustainable tourist industry as well as their ethnic and archeological richness. One and a half hours walking approximately. Return to Puno in the afternoon.

Day 10:
Puno / Cusco |

|
|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast. We head to the bus station to take the bus with service onboard (bathroom, food and a guide). This trips lasts about 9 hours, we’ll see the Peruvian Andes Mountains and the lifestyle of the Andean communities. We’ll visit the town of Pucara, and the archeological remains of Raqchi, we’ll also stop at la Raya, the border between Cuzco and Puno. Arrive to Cuzco.
Transport to the hotel.
Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Day 11: Cusco |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast. We continue with the city tour, the plaza de armas, the cathedral, Santo Domingo Convent and the Koricancha.
We continue through some neighboring routes like: Kenko, Pucapucara, Tambomachay, Sacsayhuaman. If you like, you can discover the city on your own in the afternoon, since doing this
type tourism in Peru: “on your own” it’s a very interesting attraction.

Day 12: Cuzco /Sacred Valley/Cuzco |
|

|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast, then, continue to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and through the traditional market of Pisac and the Andean market where you’ll have the chance to buy carpets, pottery. We also visit the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. Then, return to Cuzco city to spend the night and to get some rest.

Day 13: Cuzco/ Machupicchu / Cuzco |

Breakfast. We head towards the train station to catch the train which will take us to the jewel of tourism of Peru: Machupicchu. Arrive to the Aguas Calientes town, we then continue towards the Sacred city of Machupicchu by bus where we’ll have a guided
tour.
After the tour, we head back to Aguas Calientes Town to have lunch, and thereafter, return to Cuzco city.

Day 14: Cusco / Lima |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Breakfast. Transport to the airport to take the flight to Lima.
Arrive to Lima.
Farewell lunch.
Transport to the international airport.
