Trekking Peru are walks mainly chosen according to the height so that the person has a better adjustment to the height. The first route will be in the Colca canyon which is 3300 meters high as a maximum, the second route is the Inca Trail which, in the second day) may be at 4200 meters high. Of course, there is a great chance to continue with some more trekking in Huaraz at the white cordillera – Llanganuco Trek

Day 01: Lima |

Arrive to Lima. Transport to the designated hotel.

Day 02: Lima |

|
|
|
|
| |
|
We’ll visit the main tourist attractions of Lima, the Cathedral, Pizarro’s grave, and San Francisco catacombs. Right after that, we visit the modern neighborhoods of San Isidro and Miraflores, and the traditional neighbourhood of Barranco. Sleep at the hotel. To take better advantage of our trip, we spend the night in Lima to get a good rest and thus continue our trip the following day.

Day 03: Arequipa |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Arriving to Arequipa and transport to the selected hotel. The morning is free to rest and adapt to the height. We go on a city tour in the afternoon, visiting the plaza de Armas, the claustros de la compañia de Jesus, Colonial neighbourhoods of Cayma and Yanahuara. Finally we’ll visit the Santa Catalina Monastery, a XVI century citadel which was closed to the outside world for almost 400 years where time seems to have stopped.

Day 04: Arequipa - Colca Canyon |

|
|
|
|
Breakfast. On the first day of the trekking in Peru, we head to the bus station at 6 in the morning to traver towards to the Colca Canyon until the town of Cabanaconde where we’ll have lunch. We’ll have 4 more hours of trekking until we reach the bottom of the canyon, we arrive to the lodging of Llahuar, dinner and accommodation in traditional bungalows

Day 05: Colca Canyon |

|
|
|
|
Alter breakfast we move on to the town of Fure where we can see a lot of small towns, in this trekking in Peru, many of these Andean communities still speak Quechua .
We continue towards the oasis where we can find some bamboo lodging to spend the night.
We walk an average of six hours this today.
Once we arrive to the town of Fure, there is a chance to reach the waterfalls of Huararuro the very same day. It will only be possible to go there only if the passenger or client has a good physical condition.

Day 06: Colca Canyon - Cabanaconde |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
After having breakfast we have all morning to relax at the oasis and also to get a tan. Then after lunch we continue with the 4-hour-trekking until we reach the town of Cabanaconde.
We then have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 07: Cabanaconde / Cruz del Cóndor / Arequipa |

|
|
|
|
|
|
Aftfer having breakfast we depart towards the Cruz del Condor (the cross of the Condor) to watch its flight.nest we continue towards the town of Chivay where we’ll take a hot bath at the hot springs of Calera (38C) the we have lunch and return to Arequipa.

Day 08: Arequipa / Puno |

|
|
|
After having breakfast we head towards the bus station to go to Puno. The spend the night at the hotel. |

Day 09: Puno/ Lake Titicaca / Puno |

|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast. Today we’ll take a ride on a boat in the Titicaca Lake today. We start by visiting the floating islands of Uros where it’s possible to watch the lifestyle of the inhabitants of Peru. We continue onboard to visit the aisle of Taquile where we appreciate its ethnic and archeological richness of the Andean Peru. One and a half hours walking approximately. Return to Puno in the afternoon.

Day 10:
Puno / Cusco |

|
|
|
Breakfast. We head to the bus station to take the bus with service onboard (bathroom, food and a guide). This trip lasts about 9 hours. We’ll see the Peruvian Andes Mountains and the lifestyle of the Andean communities. We’ll visit the town of Pucara, and the archeological remains of Raqchi, we’ll also stop at la Raya, the border between Cuzco and Puno. Arrive to Cuzco.
Transport to the hotel.
Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Day 11: Cuzco / Sacred Valley / Cuzco |

|
|
|
|
|
|
Breakfast, then, continue to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and through the traditional market of Pisac and the Andean market where you’ll have the chance to buy carpets, pottery. We also visit the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. Then, return to Cuzco city to spend the night and to get some rest.

Day 12: Cuzco-Km 82-Huayllabamba |

Breakfast. The Inca Trail is the most popular trekking route in Peru. Having left from the Km 82 we go through the town of Chinchero-Ollantaytambo to finally reach Chilca, It is her where we will start our trekking trip.The first archeological stop we do is at llactapacta qhich is located 2650 metres above sea level. This olod Inca city served as guardian or watchpost to enter the valley. We the have breakfast and proceed to Guayllabamba where we’ll se tour first encampment. Today we’ll walk for about three hours. Dinner and a good night sleep.

Day 13: Huayllabamba – Pacasmayo |

|
|
|
Having had breakfast we start doing the trekking route by ascending an average of three hours towards the valley of Llulluchampa which is located at 4200metres high, then, we descend to Pacasm,ayo, spend the night in tents, today we walk for about 7 hours.

Day 14: Wiñayhuayna |

|
|
|
|
Breakfast. we start the trekking towards the archeological complex of Runku Rakay, and then to the Inca city of Sacyamarca. Have lunch, then we carry on to the archeological complex of Phuyupatamarca, we are now entering to the sei tropical jungle. Then, we continue towards the archeological centre of Wiñayhuayna. We set an encampment nearby. We have dinner and spend the night at the encampment. Today we walk for about 7 to 8 hours.

Day 15: Wiñayhuayna - Machupicchu - Cuzco |

|
We remind you that this is the last route in our trekking in Peru, after breakfast we continue with the trekking until Intipunku, Today, it’s the most exciting and wonderful day of our Peru trekking, because we’ll go through the door of the sun which will lead us to the City of Machupicchu. We visit the city of Machupicchu, return to the city of Cuzco by train until the hotel.

Day 16: Cusco-Lima |

Breakfast. Transport to the airport to go to Lima.
Transport to the international airport of Jorge Chavez in Lima to take the flight to your home country.
This is the end of our Trekking Peru.
